Our Mission, Vision, and Values

The strongest organizations have a very clear sense for who they are and what they are about.  While no organization is perfect, (including ours), we long to increasingly embody the best of who we are called to be and do.

OUR MISSION

While we are happy to serve, as best we can, anyone who comes our way, our particular mission is to:

Help struggling believers experience the joy of lasting change, to the glory of God.

OUR VISION

From our vantage point, our vision is the mission realized, stated in the present tense, as it is the most inspiring. In that vein, our vision is:

Believers we serve are experiencing the joy of lasting change, to the glory of God.

Clearly, God's grace is instrumental in any positive change in the world.  We hope to cooperate with His grace in ways that for each client who stays faithful to the work, truly experiences restoration and transformation in the best sense of the word.

In terms of who we hope to be as a practice, our vision that, again, by the grace of God, we are the one of the best Christian telehealth therapy practices in the states in which we serve.  We are well known for our exceptional therapists who help their clients experience the joy of lasting restoration and transformation in their lives.

We are best known for helping people deeply experience the healing love of God conveyed through a godly, skillful therapeutic relationship.  We have, by the grace of God, helped thousands of people: know they are valued and loved, engage their most important relationships in healthier ways, more fruitfully live out their God-given callings, and ultimately helped them bring greater glory to God in ways that can't be honestly denied.

OUR VALUES

Values are about what is most important to us, and how we seek to conduct ourselves as we seek to live out our mission.  We certainly respect people who have values different from ours, and we won’t impose our values on anyone.  It is our deep commitment to particularly honor the following as we pray to see our purpose realized:

Honoring Jesus In All We Do

Frankly, for us, without Jesus, we have nothing.  He is our Foundation, our Savior, our Leader, and our Exemplar.  We believe Jesus was (and somehow is) the healthiest, happiest, and most alive human being ever to walk the planet.  Becoming more like Him truly means growing in wholeness, fullness, and maturity.  Because of who He is to us, we seek to honor Him in all we do.

Following God’s Word

We see the Bible as authoritative, inspired, and as the ultimate guide in understanding the human condition. We see it as our North Star in shaping how we understand human struggles and what health looks like.  We seek to lovingly follow the Word in how we engage and respond to the people we serve.

Modeling Meaningful Maturity

Oftentimes, maturity has a negative connotation, like old, boring, or rigid. However, growing in true maturity enables people to live life to the fullest, even in a broken world. As a team, we each consistently work to grow in embodying maturity in the best sense of the word, as in highly trustworthy, caring, reliable, and competent  As therapists, we know that our own spiritual and emotional maturity level plays an enormous role in our capacity to help others heal, grow, and flourish, and as a result, it is a regular discussion topic in team and supervision meetings.

Restoration Leading to Transformation

As mentioned above, the core purpose of our practice is to facilitate restoration in people’s lives.  We are here for people who have suffered trauma, neglect, or any other psychological condition that has made knowing they are loved and have a real purpose, so hard to truly believe and live out.  We endeavor to engage with our clients in ways that help them experience restoration in ways that transform their lives, where meaning, love, joy, and hope become things they experience more and more of in their lives.

An Ongoing Pursuit of Life-Changing Wisdom

Good intentions without true wisdom can lead to disaster.  As we are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” we know that quick fixes don’t lead to lasting change. We recognize the true complexity of human beings, and consequently are relentless in our quest to understand the human condition more and more deeply. In particular, we pursue wisdom from the best of theology, psychology, and philosophy, so we can facilitate the most significant restoration and transformation in those we serve.
